Dream Tree Puppies Information & Policies
Before leaving a deposit to reserve your puppy, we ask that you read the following information carefully. We expect each new family to provide excellent care and a loving home for their new companion. Please ensure you have adequate indoor and outdoor space, time devoted to bonding and training, and have done your research on the costs associated with a puppy. If you have completed these steps and read our Health Guarantee, you may proceed with reserving your puppy. We will share one set of updated photos and a video with you during the time your puppy is reserved. Contact us with any additional questions.
We require a $200 non-refundable deposit to reserve a puppy or you may choose to pay your puppy in full at the time of reservation. In the event of a health issue occurring at the final exam or if your puppy is already reserved, your deposit is transferrable to another available puppy of your choice or refundable.
Congratulations on your purchase of a puppy from Dream Tree Puppies! We certify that the puppy you purchase is in sound health at the time of sale to the best of our knowledge. We do everything in our power to raise happy, healthy companions that will provide your family with a lifetime of love and cuddles.
Any congenital abnormality or condition deemed to be a result of breeding will be warranted for 1 year from the puppy’s date of birth. If such a condition is determined by the buyer’s veterinarian within 1 year, please contact us immediately. The puppy may be returned with a written statement from the diagnosing veterinarian and the buyer will receive 100% money back, or a replacement puppy may be chosen. If the puppy is returned, the buyer is responsible to pay return shipping. The buyer may also make a compromise to keep the puppy. If the puppy should die within 72 hours of purchase, an autopsy from a state veterinary lab is required for replacement or reimbursement of the puppy. This guarantee recognizes original owners only. All guarantees do not cover any veterinary fees or services and shipping fees.
In extremely rare situations, after leaving our care a puppy might become medically compromised in a variety of ways. We cannot guarantee the puppy against illness or opportunistic parasites brought on by the stress of moving, shipping, or motion sickness as a result of being transported from our home to yours. This stress can ignite illnesses that are dormant such as, but not limited too; parasites, coccidia (dormant in most live animals), giardia (also dormant in most live animals), ear infection, upper respiratory, and hypoglycemia. These conditions are easily treated and do not warrant a reimbursement. We do not guarantee the puppy to be “worm-free” as deworming is an on-going process that, once the puppy is out of our care, is the sole responsibility of the buyer. If for some reason you cannot care for your puppy any longer please return the puppy to us.
With each puppy we include the above health agreement to sign and return to us, a veterinary health report, vaccination and deworming records, microchip enrollment form, a small bag of puppy food, and a small blanket.
If you are unable to come meet your puppy, we offer shipping via the airlines to most major airports in the United States. We have successfully shipped our puppies via trusted airlines, who provide excellent care for puppies, for the past 13 years. Shipping is approximately $500 in addition to the cost of your puppy and includes a crate. Please specify if you will need shipping when you make a deposit and we will contact you to make arrangements.
Final Payment is due upon pickup or before shipping. We will contact you with the details. Per Ohio law, sales tax will be charged to all clients in Ohio. A processing fee will occur on all payments unless paid via cash.
We feed our puppies TLC Premium Puppy Food and include a small bag for your puppy’s first few days in their new home along with additional nutrition information. We highly recommend feeding TLC Puppy Food, especially for your puppy’s first few weeks in their new home. If you have chosen a different brand of puppy food, we recommend mixing the two foods together and slowly making the transition.
